Hi All,

I am trying to find which method the SPSS FUZZY implements in case control matching. Is this the one being used in FUZZY?

https://ieeexplore.ieee.org/abstract/document/4271037

Thanks.

This forum is not very active any more. You might have better luck posting to the SPSSX-L forum. It is really a listserve mailing list, but you can also join and post via the Nabble archive here:

Click the <more options> link at the top of the page for info on how to join the underlying mailing list. If you do not want the posts to appear in your inbox, be sure to select the "no messages" option (I forget the exact wording) when subscribing.

The regular SPSS algorithms are documented in one place,
which you can find by Googling < SPSS algorithms >.

But FUZZY is (I gather from Google) and "extension"
command. I would expect that those algorithms are
documented somewhere. I think that if it uses the
reference that you cite, the downloaded code itself
would include credit to those authors, at the very least.
