Hello, were you able to sort this out? I had reverse coded the questions before importing and when I ran the function, it insisted on running the functions again with 'check.keys=TRUE'.

I did as I was told and the alpha turned out significantly better. Now how do I perform the other tests. can anyone please guide. Do I need to reverse code the ones that the function has pointed out during cronbach alpha?

Any help is much appreciated!!

Priya,
Were you intenting to post this to comp.soft-sys.stat.spss or
was that an accident?

You apparently refer to an earlier post, but there is none linked
in the header information, and this group hasn't had a recent
message on the topic.

Plus, about SPSS -- If SPSS has some use of 'check.keys=TRUE'
it is not something I remember. And it does not sound to me
like it would be a part of RELIABILITY.
