SPSS Legacy Viewer

I have used past SPSS versions ranging from DOS (SPSS 4) to Windows (SPSS 15). In the windows version, the output files were saved in .SPO format. Form SPSS 16, this got changed to .SPV and neither SPSS or IBM provided any inbuilt support to access the earlier output file versions. The SPSS Legacy Viewer 15, which was helpful in accessing the .SPO files currently does not install on Windows 11 platforms. I have seen other version of the Legacy Viewer 16 and some Smart Viewer on the web, but am not sure whether they are authentic. IBM should provide assistance to long term users like me to help them access older output versions and/or should make earlier versions of SPSS (15 & below) free to use. This would immensely make the software popular and accessible to many. Any others who face a similar problem?
