"attempt to connect to a remote server failed"

Hello,

after installing new mac high sierra version 10.13.5 my SPSS v.25 cannot do any statistical calculations and says "attempt to connect to a remote server failed" will also say "failed to save document" when i try to save the .sav file. My license doesn't expire until september. I have restarted my computer and spss several times.
Any help would be appreciated

The few of us who still answer questions here are not the experts
